NUMBER 1
"The most beautiful
voice on the Edinburgh Folk scene." GARDEN SESSIONS |
|
Sinead Connolly from county Fermanagh, Ireland has
spent the past five years becoming heavily involved in the Edinburgh
folk scene. As well as a virtuoso of the folkie flute, she has (and
to quote Tom on one of last year's podcasts) "the most beautiful
voice on the Edinburgh folk scene"....

Eileen
Ogg (3.2 Mb / 3:27)
A heart wrenching traditional song
about a woman who falls for a not-very-nice cattle jobber
- whilst (it would seem) ignoring the interests of quite a
nice guy. |

|
Inishere
(1.4 Mb / 1:34)
Haunting would be a good word,
a traditional Irish tune (Whistle). |
