Broadcasting for an hour, every 2 weeks from Edinburgh, Scotland - Jack Foster, Frank Burkitt, Dave "The Angles" Gimble (with regular reports from our international correspondent Tom Harland as he plows on with his world folk odyssey), bringing you the very best in new songwriting and original Folk music from Scotland, the UK and beyond. It's simple to download and is undoubtedly one of the best folk music shows available on (and outside of) the internet.

The Garden Sessions has often been compared to 'Travelling Folk', BBC Radio Scotland's flagship Folk music show presented by the legendary Archie Fisher - now in it's 25th year. The Garden Sessions is just a few months from it's 2nd birthday, but with the amount of music out there - there should be many more to come...
