it's news, it's folk, it's The Folkie News at the Garden Sessions

Folk, Blues, rolling hills & Cider at the Ross-on-Wye Cider Festival 2007...

Ross-on-Wye Cider Festival31st August - 2nd September. The Ross-on-Wye Cider Festival is fast becoming one of those important dates in any festival goer, folkie or indeed cider drinker's diary. Situated at the idyllic Broome Farm in Ross-on-Wye, the festival offers a chance to sample local ciders and perrys direct from the cider makers - set against a backdrop of live music, ceilidhs and an oppertunity to have a go at the cider making process yourself.

This year's musical acts include 'The Poachers', who will be calling the dances at the Ceilidh, 'Toby Lovell', former Garden Sessions featured artist, a Bluegrass Band, Louise Richardson and many more.

Alas, the Garden Sessions team will not be there - but hopefully we can still look forward to hearing some recordings on the Garden Sessions FREE fortnightly Internet radio show (or Podcast).
