Enabling the hidden panel ...

In order to publish the hidden panel on your site all you need to do is publish any module to the 'cpanel' position. In the template admin you can also change the time that the panel takes to open.

I would suggest the Peatbog Faeries, 10pm at Queens Hall on the 16th of August.  Get your dancing shoes on!

ickle's top picks for this years festival must include the Peatbog Faeries for a good Skye dance...but also check out;

  • Ross Ainslie & Jarlath Henderson (Aug 16th) Highly talanted young pipers & top tapping to boot.
  • Alastair Savage Trio (Aug 20th) Awesome fiddle player!!
  • Mikelangelo & the Black Sea Gentlemen (various dates) Amazingly fun, auaciously entertaining and a bit manic!

I would suggest:

- Dick Gaughan 17th August 9pm, Acoustic Centre St Brides

- Aaron and Nathan Jones 25th August, 8.30pm Festival Folk at the Oak/The Wee Folk Club, Infirmary Street

This second one is a real bargain at 5 quid.  In point of fact, Edinburgh's legendary, award winning pub THE ROYAL OAK, is presenting 36 nights of performances, hosted by the irrepressible Paddy Bort.  

For sessions over the festival I would have to recommend The Bothy Collective, 9.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays in the Oak and 8.30pm on Wednesdays in Scotts Bar on Rose street.
