Dave "The Angles" Gimble

To those of you unfamiliar with the Garden Sessions FREE fortnightly internet radio show (or Podcast) - this will simply be a folk lyrics database. For the Garden Sessions listener though, it's a companion to 'Dave's Angle'. Every show, Dave seeks out a traditional (though sometimes contemporary) folk song and delves beneath it's surface to tell us what's going on - more often than not, there's plots involving sex, murder, ancient battles and tragic love stories. As well as giving you the lyrics to every song ever featured on Dave's Angle, he'll also give you a short summary - and a concise moral. As an extra treat - if we have a recording of the song in question in our vaults, we'll give you a link to it.

This week's 'Dave's Angle' is:

May Colven
